The weather looks like it will move through by mid afternoon so we should have a great evening for racing tonight at Speedway 660.  All systems go!

Divisions Racing: Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, Martins Home Heating Sportsman, RV World Street Stocks.

Saturday, July 9th @ 7:00pm
Rain Date for this event is Sunday at 2pm
Pit gates open at 1pm
Grandstands open at 5pm

Tour Time Trials at 6:10pm
Racing starts at 7pm

Ticket Prices:
Adults (16 and over) $20
Youth (ages 9-15) $15
Children (ages 8 and under) FREE
Family Pass - $75 - Two adults, two youth plus 4 pop and 4 fries.

Parts for Trucks Pro Stock 100 on tap this Saturday Night!

Fredericton N.B. – This weekend Speedway 660 will welcome the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour’s annual visit to the Geary Woods.

Upwards of 28 cars are expected to make the trip to Speedway 660 this weekend including some of our own weekly O’Leary Auto Group Pro Stock regular drivers.  Locals expected include multi time champions Greg Fahey and Dave O’Blenis, as well as Kevin Moore and rookie Steve Halpin.

The Maritime Tour is Coming! - Wade’s Weekly 2011 Issue 6!

Everybody loves Pro-Stock racing. It’s the biggest, loudest, fastest and most prestigious brand of motorsports in our region. On Saturday night the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour visits Atlantic Canada’s most popular race track. Speedway 660 is proud to roll out the welcome mat for the Maritime Tour and excited to host race number five in that series.

Home Turf for Tucker
Fredericton driver Shawn Tucker must be happy to have a short haul this weekend. Not only that, he probably is looking at his home town 100 lapper as an opportunity to have a strong finish and move up in the standings. Tucker, currently sits a respectable 3rd, but has a lot of work to do to reel in point leader Wayne Smith.

Fox FANFEST 2011 a HUGE Success!

On the eve of the third annual FanFest 2011 where upwards of 4,000 fans filled the bleachers at Speedway 660, St. Martins John Rankin made the podium for the first time this season winning the Martins Home Heating Sportsman feature.

The feature was dominated early on by Steve Seveck of Temperance Vale and Danny McNeill of Douglas, with Seveck holding onto first spot through the first ten laps before Seveck’s No. 44S and McNeill’s No. 80 got together in turn two giving Saint John’s Randy Moore the lead with Rankin moving up to second.
Both drivers battled over first through two cautions with Moore holding onto the lead until a caution on lap 27, which gave Rankin the outside line. On the final restart Rankin took Moore on the outside to take the feature with Moore having to settle for second.
