Every sport has rules and racing is no exception. There are rules to govern driver’s activities on the track and rules to govern the parts and equipment used on the cars. Recently Wade Wilson talked with Donnie Greer, Speedway 660’s chief tech inspector, about his role in racing.
What a weekend! I wish I was able to tell you about what a great Pro All Star Series weekend we had at Speedway 660. I wish I could write about an incredible race, with an exciting finish and an amazing celebration in the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane!
Due to inclement weather forecast for the weekend of June 8th and 9th, both days are cancelled.
Speedway660 had to make the call early because of the travel requirements for the Pro All stars drivers.
We will be working to see if we can re-schedule the Pro All Star tour at a later date.
Speedway 660 rolls out the red carpet for the Pro All Star Series on Saturday night. Qualifying for the PASS 150 begins at 7PM. Over twenty race teams from the PASS roster are expected to make the trip north this weekend. Several drivers from the Maritime Parts for Trucks Tour and the Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock division are also expected to enter the race.
The Pro All Star Series rolls into Speedway 660 this Saturday night for its only Atlantic Canadian event of the year. We are proud to bring the PASS Tour to our region and expect lots of fans from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to be in the stands when the green flag flies Saturday night. Several car-loads of fans will also travel from Maine and Quebec for this race and we’ll even have a few folks from farther afield.
The first big event of Atlantic Canada’s stock car racing season is scheduled for this Saturday night at 7PM. Speedway 660, celebrating its twentieth anniversary season, is proud to host the PASS 150. Wade Wilson recently talked with Tommy Mayberry about North America’s most exciting short-track tour.
The Speedway 660 racing community finally got to go racing. Our fourth attempt to hold the Riverview Ford Season Opener was a hot, muggy Sunday afternoon, but it didn’t rain and that set the stage for some interesting and exciting racing.
Greg Fahey had a great start to his season in the Martins Home Heating Sportsman Division to kick off the 20th anniversary season at Speedway 660. Fahey made three trips to the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane to win the first Jensen Financial triple crown award of the racing season.
The 20th anniversary season at Speedway 660 will officially get underway this afternoon. The Riverview Ford Season Opener, which was rained out last night, will begin at 2PM today. But fans are encouraged to come down to the Geary Woods early because the Westwood Estate Appartments Bandolero and Fredericton Jewelers heat races begin at 1:20PM.
