The second Enduro of the 2013 racing season goes green at 7PM Saturday night at Speedway 660. It’s the only night race of the four race Enduro season. Wade Wilson recently caught up with Chuck Mercer, who won the 2012 Enduro championship, sharing the driving duties with his cousin Clifford. The Mercer boys also won the first Enduro race of this season.
Last Saturday night was hot in the Geary Woods. If you missed our Weekly Championship Point racing, you missed one of the most exciting nights of the season at Speedway 660. It was hot in the stands, Hot in the pits and even HOTTER inside the race cars.
Heidi Cooper won the DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock main event at Speedway 660 on Saturday night. Cooper beat Roger Slocum in one of the tightest finishes in the history of racing in the Geary Woods.
There is Weekly Point Racing at 7PM tonight at Speedway 660. Weather conditions are great and the pit gate opens for race teams at 2PM. The grandstands open at 5PM and the West Wood Estate Apartments Bandolero and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter Division heat races begin at approximately 6:20PM. Heat races in the DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock, Martins Home Heating Sportsman and RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock Divisions begin at 7PM.

The new Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter Division is a thrilling brand of racing that provides exciting action for Speedway 660 fans.
The DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock Division provides race fans with an exciting brand of racing every time they roll out onto Speedway 660. The competition is tough in 2013 because there are several veteran drivers and a brand new crop of rookies just up from the West Wood Estates Bandolero and Fredericton Jewelers 4 Cylinder Divisions. Wade Wilson recently talked with Roger Slocum, a veteran driver who feels right at home in the seat of his race car.
You keep hearing people say stock car racing is a family sport. Drivers, who have podium finishes, acknowledge their sponsors and the fans. But they also thank their families for supporting their racing efforts and encouraging them to have fun and be successful every time they come to Speedway 660. It is always amazing how this community comes together to support a member of our racing family when they are going through challenging times.
Race fans were treated to some great racing when the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour came to Speedway 660 on Saturday night. John Flemming won the Irving Blending and Packaging 100 finishing ahead of Shawn Tucker, Dave O’Blenis and 23 other top Maritime pro stockers.
