John Flemming won the Irving Blending and Packaging 100 at Speedway 660 on Saturday night for his third Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour victory of the year. But it wasn’t easy. Flemming had to overcome two red flag stoppages after electrical issues forced officials to stop the race when the lights when out at the track. Then he had to reel-in Shawn Tucker, the race leader, and make a late pass to seal the deal.
The Irving Blending and Packaging 100 is set for 7PM tonight at Speedway 660. Come early and see the Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials at 6:10PM. Its the only time the Parts for Trucks ”Maritime Pro Stock Tour” will visit the Geary Woods in 2013. Race fans will also see exciting action in the DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock and Martins Home Heating Sportsman Division. Shawn Tucker won the Irving Blending and Packaging 100 last year, but up to two dozen other tour regulars including points leader John Flemming will be out for a trip to the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane. The RE/MAX Group Four Realty pro stock points leader Dave O’Blenis and a few other of Speedway 660’s weekly pro stockers are also expected to be in the hunt for the win tonight!
The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour makes its annual visit to Speedway 660 this weekend. The Maritime tour will run the Irving Blending and Packaging 100 at 7PM on Saturday night. At least two dozen tour drivers are expected to head to the Geary Woods for the race. Dave O’Blenis and a few other RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock drivers from Speedway 660 will also enter the race.

July has arrived with Canada Day and the summer season. School is out and the vacation period is in full swing. Everybody loves to “come home” to the Maritimes during the summer and part of that homecoming includes a trip out to Speedway 660.
