Sportsman 150 and ENDURO 200 on track this weekend

Fredericton N.B. – Speedway 660 brings an action packed weekend to the Geary Woods this weekend with only three weeks remaining before SPEEDWEEKEND.

Saturday night the Firecracker Sportsman 150 is on track, showcasing some of the best Sportsman talent in the region as the Speedway 660 Pro Stock division has the week off as the Atlantic Cat 250 runs this weekend at Scotia Speedworld in Halifax.

With three weeks of points racing remaining in the RV World Street Stock, Hanwell Village Mart Bandolero, and the 4 Cylinder divisions, every point will count this weekend.

Four-time division champion Rick Cashol of Saint John currently leads the RV World Street Stock division in points over Benji Ruff of Carlow by seven, with Shannon Brake of Quispamsis 26 points behind Cashol in third.

In the Hanwell Village Mart Bandolero division, Dana Hamm-Cameron of Fredericton has won the last three features and has a 34 point lead over Ryan Messer of Harvey and Cole Boudreau of Chipman who are currently both tied for second.

Tyler Seveck of Temperance Vale currently leads the 4 Cylinder division in a tight points race. Defending points champion Kevin Peterson of Hoyt is six points back in second, while Robert Flowers of Geary is only 10 points back in third. Luc McLaughlin of Fredericton and Kevin Dunster of Haneytown round out the top five, both within 19 and 20 points of first respectively.

After Saturday night under the lights, the ENDURO cars will be on track for the second time this season on Sunday afternoon. The ENDURO 200 always promises plenty of smashing and crashing. In the first race of the season fans saw a handful of barrel rolls as well and the same excitement can be expect this weekend as they fight for victory.
