SpeedWeekend 2012 racing officially gets underway tonight at 7PM at Speedway 660. The weather is great and fans will be treated to one of the best Sportsman events of the year.
More than thirty Sportsman drivers are expected to attempt to qualify for the Coastal Blending and Packaging 150. Also on tonight’s racing agenda is the Fredericton Jewelers Four Cylinder division. More than twenty four cylinders will provide fans with their own special brand of short track excitement.
Tomorrow qualifying for the Auto Value 250 begins at 2PM. More than thirty of the best Pro Stock teams in eastern North America will attempt to qualify for the Auto Value 250. Pre-race ceremonies are scheduled for 6:30PM tomorrow and the Auto Value 250 will begin at 7PM.
The Hanwell Village Mart Bandolero and RV World Street Stock divisions will race during the afternoon of Auto Value 250 qualifying. The Fredericton Hyundai Street Stock 50 lap race will be a highlight of tomorrow afternoon’s racing. SpeedWeekend wraps up Monday at 2PM with the Enduro 200, Speedway 660’s final event of the 2012 season.
Last night hundreds of people came out to Speedway 660 to enjoy the annual SpeedWeekend corn-boil and infield party.
